What You Will Do:

We are looking for a candidate to support a National Security client in designing, implementing, and optimizing their system infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with system architecture, integration, and lifecycle management, with expertise in designing scalable and secure solutions. The candidate should be able to analyze requirements, develop technical specifications, configure and troubleshoot system components, and provide seamless interoperability across platforms. A pro-active mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment are key to success in this role. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in preparation of a work product in Technical process areas associated with ISO/IEC 15288.

  • Assist in performing systems engineering activities in ISO/IEC Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.

  • Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.

  • Develop and deliver a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a FULL SCOPE (FS/FSP) polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management or a Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics discipline; FOUR (4) years of additional experience related to systems engineering, system design and architecture, and/or systems implementation may be used in lieu of a degree

  • SIX (6) or more years of systems engineering


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Powershell, Bash) to automate system processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual tasks.

  • Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools to support scalable and resilient system deployments.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and document system designs clearly.

  • Proactive mindset for troubleshooting complex system issues, quickly adapting to new technologies, and optimizing infrastructure.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
