What You Will Do:
An Acquisition Specialist will support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) with analytical, consulting, and/or assessments of technical, business & administrative goals of a Department of War (DoW) research program. You will perform analysis requiring advanced knowledge of the DoW procurement process and methodologies.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
Masters Degree
SIX (6) or more years' experience with Department of War (DoW) acquisition processes. Experience should include, but not be limited to:
Experience with varied acquisition methodologies and strategies within the DoW
Demonstrated knowledge of procurement requirements, as required within the FAR
Experience working with contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and other transactions
What Would Be Nice to Have:
Prior experience working with DARPA
Experience leveraging and integrating AI tools to improve processes and workflow efficiency
Experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to be flexible and readily adaptable to change
Ability to organize, multi-task, and respond to quick turn-around requests
Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate the intellectual content of scientific and technological information to both technical and lay audiences quickly and effectively
Possession of outstanding attention to detail
Possession of clear and succinct oral, visual, and written communication skills
