What You Will Do:
Apply strong technical skills and a mission‑focused mindset to understand client needs, identify opportunities, and design solutions for Federal clients. Leverage tools such as Python, SQL, LLMs, and Tableau and platforms such as Databricks to develop products and solutions. Automate processes using Power Automate when appropriate. Communicate clearly to translate technical findings for both technical and non‑technical audiences, including leadership. Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, adapt solutions to mission needs, and drive initiatives forward. Support internal initiatives and business development including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers.

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • THREE (3) or more years of experience.
  • Experience in connecting data sources and wrangling data using Python.
  • Experience in querying and wrangling data using SQL.
  • Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
  • Experience utilizing Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
  • Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models using Python.
  • Experience performing analytics and data engineering in a cloud environment, such as Azure or AWS. 


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience working in Databricks.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identify opportunities to add value to the client, and drive initiatives and innovation.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present technical solutions, insights, and results to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.
  • Ability to support remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the Washington D.C. metro area.  
  • Familiarity with Databricks platform for conducting data science.
  • Familiarity with development involving APIs.
  • Ability to learn new software tools.
  • Understanding of Natural Language Processing.
  • Strong understanding of statistics and statistical methods.
  • Familiarity with RAG methods and development.
  • Understanding of AI/ML model containerization, such as with Docker.
  • Proficiency in developing data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau, applying best practices.
  • Experience automating data analytics and other business processes using Power Automate.
  • Proficiency using source control and collaborative development practices.
  • Experience with graph analytics, network analysis, or graph data modeling.
  • Relevant experience supporting Department of State or other Federal Government organizations.
