What You Will Do:
Our management consultants work directly with our clients to support their most critical missions and goals. In this position, you will support a team addressing an Executive Order, legislative requirements, and Federal agency objectives around transportation access and coordination. You will be expected to own the development and quality of client products, work with a team to establish and manage work plans, deadlines, and deliverable requirements, and directly manage client relationships. You will support the client as we work across Federal agencies to find opportunities for better transportation coordination for underserved populations. Specifically, you will:
Work with federal clients and team members to develop the strategic planning process and manage implementation activities for an interagency council
Plan, draft, and develop products such as outreach and communications materials, strategic plan components, executive-level meeting presentations, and public-facing transportation resources on behalf of a federal client
Develop facilitation guides, talking points, and materials for federal executives for webinars, presentations, and meetings
Support and lead client interactions, including meeting preparation, facilitation, and follow‑up, while maintaining strong client relationships
Collaborate across federal offices and agencies, identifying opportunities to improve transportation-related coordination and efficiency
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
1-3+ years of consulting experience in federal, state, or local consulting
Experience with creating and refining public sector policy initiatives
Experience conducting research, collecting data through qualitative (e.g., interviews, focus groups, etc.) and quantitative means and writing executive-level reports with keen attention to detail
Experience with project management
Experience with facilitation and consensus building
Experience in working with and delivering communications to senior level audiences
Experience with developing and growing client relationships
Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft suite, including PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, and Google Workspace suite, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse
Due to contract requirements, US Citizenship restrictions apply
This hybrid position role may require up to 3-5 days on-site at the Client's office
This hybrid position is open to candidates who will reside within 50 miles of DC
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master’s Degreefrom an accredited college/university
Familiarity with Federal agencies, policies, and programs
Familiarity with public transportation; in particular, human services transportation, non-emergency medical transportation, and transportation access
Familiarity with using Google Workspace in the public sector
