What You Will Do:
The Senior Data Scientist will deliver technical expertise and hands-on support, focusing on advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making. This role emphasizes execution of complex data solutions and contributes to strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python scripts and tools for data cleaning, transformation, modeling, and automation

  • Implement data science solutions, including statistical modeling and machine learning

  • Support data integration, cleansing, and quality assurance activities

  • Develop dashboards and visualization tools for executive reporting

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements

  • Apply CRISP-DM and Agile Kanban methodologies for iterative delivery

  • Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in data science

  • Contribute to data culture and education initiatives, including playbooks, quick guides, and training sessions


What You Will Need:

  • US Citizenship is required

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum THREE (3) years of experience in data science roles with demonstrated technical depth

  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and model development, including experience with relevant libraries and cloud environments

  • Proficiency in R, SQL, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, data platforms, and analytics methodologies

  • Ability to collaborate across technical and business audiences

  • Familiarity with federal data standards and compliance frameworks

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Master’s Degree

  • AI/LLM Certifications

  • Experience with federal contracting and procurement processes

  • Experience supporting data governance, metadata management, and open data initiatives

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
