What You Will Do:
Join a high-performing project team supporting major Department of Defense (DoD) asset acquisition, audit and sustainment initiatives. This position is for a Senior Property Accountability Consultant for the F-35 Joint Program Office. Duties include applying knowledge and experience in asset management lifecycle policies and procedures to acquire, sustain, and retire F-35 material and equipment throughout their life cycles.
Responsibilities include the following:
Engage with product support and audit client stakeholders to identify requirements
Develop and document future state property accountability procedures
Identify opportunities for business process improvement and automation in asset management workflows
Provide subject matter expertise on DoD guidance related to property accountability (e.g., DoDI 5000 series, DoDM 4000 series, DFARS 200 series, etc.)
Develop, maintain, and analyze program schedules
Draft briefings and position papers covering program issues
Prepare documentation and presentation material for program milestones
The candidate may also be required to perform a wide range of acquisition program office activities, such as: assisting in developing and integrating risk management plans and strategies; supporting program briefings; and effectively communicating recommendations orally and in writing to higher organizational management.
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
Bachelor's Degree
FIVE (5) years of experience supporting federal government customers in acquisition and sustainment
Must be able to independently travel to Arlington, VA area to meet with employees, prospective candidates, and Federal clients up to FIVE (5) days per week.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
Master's Degree
TEN (10)+ years of experience in A&D production, acquisition and/or sustainment
DoD, DoN, for DAF Acquisition to Disposition experience
Experience using Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment Procure-to-Pay application
Experience in Federal Accounting, Asset Management and/or Financial Management
Aerospace Engineering certification
PMP certification
DAIWA Level III certification in one of the following:
Sustaining Engineering
Maintenance Planning and Management
Design Interface
Certification and/or experience in Continuous Improvement (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints)
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, flexible, fast-paced environment
Ability to promptly adapt, respond quickly to new information and changing scope in a matrix organization
Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
