What You Will Do:
As a Consultant on our State and Local Government team in Atlanta, you will support public sector clients by conducting analysis, developing recommendations, and helping implement improvements. You will work closely with project leaders and client stakeholders to gather information, synthesize insights, and produce clear, client-ready deliverables. This is a role for an analytical and strategic problem solver who is excited to be part of building a high growth Georgia team and working in person with colleagues and clients.
Key activities include:
- Serve as a core team member on consulting projects from project initiation through analysis, solution development, implementation and closeout.
- Gather and synthesize information through interviews, focus groups, surveys, document review and dataset review.
- Apply critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills to identify issues, develop insights and support client decision-making.
- Develop well-structured client deliverables such as findings and recommendation summaries, strategic plans, process flows and status updates.
- Support planning and facilitation of client working sessions and day-to-day operational meetings.
- Translate complex information into clear written narratives and visually effective PowerPoint materials.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with clients and colleagues and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.
- Support internal initiatives and business development efforts such as research, proposal development and reusable asset creation.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- 1+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting, public sector, analytics or a related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to develop accurate, well-organized written deliverables and presentations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work in a dynamic environment
- Must currently reside within 50 miles of Atlanta, Georgia and be available to work in person from the Atlanta office and at client sites
- Ability to travel throughout the state of Georgia and on occasion outside the state based on client needs
- No sponsorship is available for this position
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience supporting state or local government clients. Georgia experience is a plus but not required
- Experience with business process improvement, stakeholder engagement, change management or program management
- Experience performing data analysis and using findings to recommend and implement improvements
- Interest in technology enabled transformation and experience supporting adoption or implementation efforts
