What You Will Do:

  • Perform daily review for completion of manually entered physician deficiencies.

  • Monitoring incomplete/deficiency reports to assist in timely record completion by the physicians and other providers as appropriate, including monitoring of Deficiency Rejection and Discharge Validation Reports.

  • Daily review of discharges to ensure validation.

  • Generate listing of physicians not in compliance with incomplete/delinquency standards.

  • Communicate with providers and notify providers of incomplete records that have been assigned for completion.

  • Monitor weekly provider letter distribution for accuracy and timeliness.

  • Other duties as assigned.


What You Will Need:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited Health Information Technology program required.

  • RHIT or RHIA by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) OR certificate eligible candidates must obtain RHIA or RHIT within 6 months from date of hire.

  • Experience working with Medical Records.

  • Ability to work onsite M - F, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (flexible start and end times available).

  • Strong communication and time management skills.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience working with physician incomplete and delinquent monitoring and reporting.

  • Experience with medical records analysis.
