What You Will Do:
We are currently searching for a Caregiving Study Interviewer to independently provide supportservices to satisfy operational objectives of the National Human GenomeResearch Institute (NHGRI). The primary objective is to provide servicesand deliverables through performance of support services. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Bethesda, MD.  

  • Collect data through interviews with participants.

  • Communicate with participants directly to schedule appointments. 

  • Participate in data collection and communicate with participants, as needed, for behavioral and social science research.

  • Perform preliminary analysis of data to address behavioral and social science research questions.

  • Enter data into research database and perform data queries. 

  • Support the Clinical Research Coordinator in the overall study coordination.

  • Review all Informed Consents for accuracy, completion, and compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations; ensure one copy is filed in the patient’s medical record and another copy sent to the participant.

  • Update and maintain research databases; perform basic data analysis.

  • Respond to questions from participants regarding general study procedures.


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least 2 years ofsocial scienceexperience

  • Communication/Interviewing Skills

  • Possess proficiency with databases and report tools

  • Collect and extract research data reports for publication and presentatio


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Preferred areas of study are Psychology (Clinical, Counseling, Education, Social), Human Services and Community Organization, Social Work, TreatmentTherapy Professions.

  • Maintain communication and review key project questions with study participants.

  • Scheduling

  • Patient/family education
