What You Will Do:

As a Communications Specialist on this project, you will directly support our C-suite level government client with a wide range of impactful deliverables as they execute their mission of delivering scientific and technological innovation to the Intelligence Community (IC). This role directly supports the forefront of IC decision-making and involves coordination between government partners and external stakeholders.

Key tasks involve:

  • Communications with key internal and external stakeholders to acquire data and facilitate strategic engagement to promote IARPA’s research programs

  • Help establish a new functional area and processes to capture, manage, and measure the impact of IARPA research to the IC

  • Serving as an interface between research stakeholders and the new functional area including Program Managers, Technical SETA, transition partners and other government stakeholders in order to capture impact of IARPA research

  • Leading the development and implementation of the organizational strategic plan

  • Reviewing, maintaining, and updating weekly activity reports

  • Researching historical and current transition impact and developing story-telling ideas to articulate IARPA’s successes

  • Creating content and managing IARPA ‘s social media platforms

  • Supporting front office and leadership in special needs related to communications such as newsletters, briefings, and communication surveys/tools


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • FIVE (5) or more years’ of experience with the federal government

  • THREE (3) or more years' experience in strategic communications

  • Effective organization and communication skills

  • Ability to coordinate across organizations

  • Strong writing/editing skills

  • Database formulation and organization experience

  • Web content management/design experience

  • Video production skills (photography, editing)

The annual salary range for this position is $100,100.00-$150,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
