What You Will Do:
As a Financial Management Specialist on this project, you will directly support our C-suite level government client with a wide range of impactful deliverables as they execute their mission of providing government-wide financial management guidance and oversight. This role sits at the forefront of Intelligence Community efforts including policy development toward the objective of auditability.
Key tasks involve:
Financial statement analysis, reporting results, financial statement audit report analysis, and cross-IC coordination to develop solutions for common audit material weaknesses;
Develop or support the execution of financial management plans and strategies;
Develop or oversee the execution of enterprise-wide financial guidelines, accounting methodologies, and standard processes;
Support the development of financial management workforce plans and strategies;
Support statutory Financial Management reporting and oversight.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal with DoD security clearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related
SIX (6) or more years of experience with the Federal Government with at least THREE (3) years of experience working with one or more of the Intelligence Community members.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
CPA, CDFM, or CGFM certification
Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness background
Ability to perform deep research of financial policies and procedures
Ability to coordinate cross-functionally
