What You Will Do:

We are currently searching for a Grants Program Analyst. This position will provide administrative and analytical support in the management of federal research grants. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient processing of grant applications, compliance with NIH policies, and effective communication with grantees and federal staff. This is a full-time opportunity supporting the NHLBI office located in Bethesda, MD.

  • Review, triage, and process competing grant applications, ensuring compliance with NIH and NHLBI guidelines.

  • Conduct administrative and regulatory analysis, including budget reviews and human/animal subjects’ considerations.

  • Track and manage deadlines, ensuring all required documentation is received and properly uploaded.

  • Prepare and review correspondence to grantees and staff regarding policy, procedural, and administrative issues.

  • Serve as a resource for program staff, providing guidance on grants management processes.

  • Assist with portfolio analysis, OGM supplements, and funding actions.



What You Will Need:

  • Master’s Degree in Business or related discipline OR Bachelor’s Degree PLUS TWO (2) years of experience in lieu of Master’s Degree.

  • A minimum of FIVE (5) years of specialized NIH grants management experience.

  • Proficiency with NIH’s eRA IMPACII Grants Management Module.

  • Strong ability to interpret and apply federal grants regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The annual salary range for this position is $0.00-$0.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
