What You Will Do:
We are searching foran Imaging Training Specialisttosupport future opportunitiesThe person in this role willdesign and deliver specialized training on high-content imaging, automated microscopy, and computational analysis tools.They will lead program management and multidisciplinary collaboration to advance imaging science education and workforce capacity. Thisposition will be basedinBethesda,MD.

  • Develop and deliver training on high-content imaging systems, automated microscopy equipment, and computational notebooks.  

  • Create SOPs, job aids, and video modules aligned with best practices, compliance, and evolving platform requirements.  

  • Assess competency, certify users, and maintain training records in the LMS, ensuring regulatory compliance.  

  • Partner with imaging support, scientists, and cross-functional teams to tailor role-based curricula and expand program impact.  

  • Monitor training effectiveness, update content based on feedback and platform changes, and maintain a living library of educational resources.  

  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations for executive leadership, multidisciplinary partners, and professional audiences.  

  • Cultivate collaborations and a community of learning within and across teams, stewarding partnerships that expand scope and impact.  

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Imaging Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.  

  • A minimum of TWO (2) years of imaging-focused training or hands-on imaging experience.  

  • Experience building and managing relationships across sectors.  

  • Proficiency with imaging platforms (PerkinElmer Columbus/Harmony, MetaXpress, HCA workflows) and educational technologies (Articulate, Docebo, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Camtasia).  

  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills for both in-person and virtual sessions.  


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Master’s Degree is preferred. 

  • Hands-on experience with advanced microscopy techniques (confocal, super-resolution, live-cell imaging). 

  • Proficiency in image analysis of pipelines, scripting (Python/R), and workflow automation tools. 

  • Experience with cloud-based imaging data management and integration with ELN/LIMS systems.

The annual salary range for this position is $56,000.00-$94,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
