We are currently seeking a Scientist to plan, execute, and modify laboratory research experiments, while providing technical support, training, and guidance to laboratory staff and junior researchers. Maintains laboratory equipment and facilities, analyzes and communicates research findings, presents results at scientific meetings, and provides scientific interpretation and support to management.This is a full-time, on-site position based on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD or Baltimore, MD.

What You Will Do:
· Supports the planning, coordination, and execution of research experiments in alignment with the laboratory’s overall research objectives and programmatic priorities.

· Provides scientific and technical support to laboratory staff by assisting with research projects, experimental design, and application of laboratory techniques. · Maintains laboratory equipment and instrumentation, and trains personnel on proper operation, safety, and best practices to ensure reliable and compliant use. · Assists in maintaining adequate laboratory space, infrastructure, and facilities to support current and anticipated research activities and experimental workflows. · Evaluates, analyzes, and interprets research data, and communicates scientific methods and results through written reports, presentations, and peer-reviewed manuscripts.

What You Will Need:
· Master’s degree in a life Science field.

· Minimum of three (3) years of biological research functions in a research setting.

· Demonstrates knowledge and experience in maintaining accurate and detailed records.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust. Candidates must receive approved adjudication of their Public Trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active Public Trust or existing suitability are preferred.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

· Knowledge of laboratory safety practices

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills

· Strong communication skills, both oral and written

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
