What You Will Do:
The Administrative Support Analyst provides direct support to UAB Medicine and Guidehouse revenue cycle leadership by creating high-quality presentations, reports, and visual communications. This role bridges the gap between data, design, and decision-making—working across departments to coordinate meetings, develop materials, and track deliverables that impact operational performance and strategy.
This individual will interact with Directors, VPs, and Partners across both UAB and Guidehouse-supported entities, including assisting with materials for other healthcare clients as needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, an expert in PowerPoint and Excel, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment. This role is a creative, analytical, and communication-focused support position.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Presentation & Meeting Support
Designs and maintains polished, branded PowerPoint presentations for leadership meetings, internal updates, Guidehouse reporting, and strategic planning.
Supports the setup and coordination of cross-functional meetings.
Responsible for taking clear, concise meeting notes, distributing summaries, and tracking follow-up action items to completion.
Ensures content aligns with established UAB Medicine and Guidehouse branding standards and leadership presentation preferences.
Reporting & Data Coordination
Works closely with offshore reporting teams to align daily, weekly, and ad hoc report development with business needs.
Reviews and formats reports prior to distribution to ensure consistency, visual clarity, and alignment with leadership goals.
Assists with light data analysis and Power BI dashboards when applicable.
Creative & Operational Collaboration
Gathers inputs from stakeholders and translates operational information into compelling visual content.
Offers creative suggestions and enhancements for presentation structure, layout, and data storytelling while learning the communication style preferred by leadership.
Supports additional administrative reporting or deliverables needed across other Guidehouse healthcare sites or departments.
Template & Content Management
Maintains a library of templates, visual assets, and presentation layouts for efficient reuse and consistency across teams.
Ensures files are properly organized and version-controlled for ongoing use and collaboration.
This is a local, on-site role based in Birmingham, AL.
No travel is required, though early or late meeting availability may be occasionally needed.
The role supports multiple stakeholders across UAB Medicine and Guidehouse clients
What You Will Need:
High School diploma or GED
Two (2) years of experience in a business, healthcare, administrative, or communications setting supporting reporting or presentations.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Familiarity with Power BI is a strong plus.
Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to interact professionally with executive stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, organize information, and track follow-up items without supervision.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook is preferred.
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel:
PowerPoint: professional slide design, use of master layouts, animations, visual hierarchy.Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charting, conditional formatting.
