What You Will Do:
Under minimal supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs a variety of duties related to the supervision of the customer service and self-pay collection functions of the UAB Business Office. Such duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensures the timely completion of assigned tasks on a consistent and reoccurring basis
Reviews the work of Collections, Estates and Bankruptcies (CEB) representatives
Provides training and feedback based upon reviews
Assists in administering policies, procedures and productivity standards
Proactively assists CEB supervisor and representatives in the completion of assigned tasks in order to ensure that the performance goals of the team are accomplished or exceeded
Maintains communication and availability in conjunction with the flexible scheduling of a remote staff
Proactively identifies and communicates issues to management in a timely manner
Performs other duties as requested by management.
What You Will Need:
Requires a University Degree or a high school diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of prior relevant experience in insurance and billing, banking ,collections, or legal field
