The AI Architect will play a critical technical leadership role withinGuidehouse’sAI & Data practice in India. This roleis responsible forarchitecting and delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions, supporting the firm’s AI Studio, and serving as a technical lead for strategic AI initiatives. The AI Architect will partner closely with global stakeholders, provide hands-on technical leadership across Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, and help grow and upskill the India AI & Data team through coaching and mentorship.
What You Will Do
Architect and implement enterprise-grade AI solutions by collaborating with senior leadership to define technology strategies aligned with businessobjectives.
Serve as a technical leader for strategic AI initiatives, guiding solution design decisions across architecture, platforms, and implementation approaches.
Support and help advance AI Studio capabilities, including reusable architectures, accelerators, best practices, and reference implementations.
Lead the design and development of AI platforms, including model lifecycle management, cloud-native deployment pipelines,MLOps, and scalable agentic architectures.
Architect and build AI platforms and pipelinesleveragingcloud-native services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support model development, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
Drive hands-on development of Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, including LLM-based systems, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-agent architectures.
Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies and frameworks, assessing their applicability to client and internal use cases.
Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, and business stakeholders) toidentifyhigh-impact AI use cases and deliverMVPs andproduction-grade solutions.
Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to AI engineers and more junior resources, helping to upskill and grow the India AI & Data team.
Promote a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and responsible AI, ensuring solutions align with commercial and public sector standards for data governance, security, and ethical AI usage.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, ora relatedfield.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data analytics, with a strong focus on solution architecture and deployment.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Generative AI and/or Agentic AI architectures and solutions.
Proven experience architecting and deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Palantir, or Databricks.
Strong understanding ofbigdata technologies,AIframeworks,and modern cloud ecosystems
Hands-on experienceanddemonstratedtechnicalleadershipdeveloping applications, data pipelines, and cloud-nativeAIsolutions.
Strong communicationand collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical direction and work effectively with global stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
What Would Be Nice to Have
Experience working in a consulting or advisory capacity, supporting client-facing AI and data initiatives.
Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
Certifications in cloud architecture, AI/ML engineering, or data science.
Experience contributing to AI thought leadership, accelerators, orenterprise-levelstrategic initiatives(e.g.,AI Center of Excellence or AI Transformationprograms).
Experience mentoring or leading distributed teams in a global delivery model.
