What will you do:

Strategic Leadership & Global Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary AI leader for the India Intelligent Operations, acting as a strategic partner and counterpart to the North American AI leadership

  • Collaborate on the global AI strategy, ensuring the India center's capabilities and roadmap are aligned with overall business objectives

  • Drive the vision, strategy, and execution for the India AI team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

AI Service Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Develop innovative AI solutions that generate measurable impact for clients.

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of AI and Machine Learning projects for Guidehouse clients ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

  • Identify and address risks proactively to ensure compliance with contracts and client requirements.

  • Implement and refine best practices in Agile, DevOps, and MLOps to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of all AI services

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build, lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing, multi-disciplinary AI team encompassing AI development, AI Architecture, data science, machine learning engineering, data engineering, and AI operations

  • Implement structured talent and skill development programs and provide coaching to nurture the next generation of AI leaders within the organization

Technical Leadership & Innovation

  • Serve as the senior technical authority for the India Intelligent Operations, providing guidance on AI/ML architecture, model development, and data governance

  • Stay at the forefront of emerging AI technologies, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and prompt engineering, and drive their adoption where applicable

  • Promote a culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping to accelerate innovation and identify new opportunities for AI-driven business value

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all India-based AI delivery stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication

  • Translate complex business requirements into tangible AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable impact and a strong return on investment

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business operations, to ensure seamless project execution

What you will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field required.

  • 20+ years in technology, including 5+ years leading AI/ML teams.

  • Experience managing AI partnerships with cloud providers, AI labs, and startups.

  • Strong background in AI project execution, from PoC to production, with measurable business impact.

  • Proven experience with AI strategy for large organizations.

  • Experience in delivery management and building high-performance teams, in a fast-paced environment.

  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in global consulting or IT services firms.

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.

  • AI/ML or cloud AI certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Business acumen and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Highly driven and able to excel in a results-focused, analytical setting.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
