Position Summary:

The Full Stack Experience Architect, Life Sciences Technology, leads the design and delivery of secure, scalable technology applications that operationalize analytics, workflows, and AI capabilities. This role owns application-layer architecture, API strategy implementation, DevSecOps practices, and production readiness standards across life sciences technology programs.

The architect ensures that user-facing solutions are performant, secure, and maintainable, while enabling rapid prototyping and iteration through modern engineering practices.

What You Will Do:

  • Architect and implement modern web applications and microservices supporting analytics dashboards, workflow automation, and AI-driven decision tools.
  • Define API design standards and ensure consistent implementation of RESTful services, define SLOs and event-based integrations.
  • Lead and govern application-layer security controls, including SSO integration, RBAC enforcement, token/session management, and secure secrets handling.
  • Architect and optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed, cloud-native environments.
  • Partner with Analytics and GenAI Architects to safely and efficiently integrate LLM-based services into enterprise application workflows.
  • Design and oversee microservices architectures and integrations, including Agentic AI services, MCP tools, and related service orchestration patterns.
  • Leverage GenAI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate V0 prototypes and V1 MVP development while maintaining security, quality, compliance, and traceability.
  • Ensure application implementations align with enterprise integration blueprints, architecture standards, and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
  • Provide technical leadership through mentorship, code reviews, and enforcement of engineering quality standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain reusable component libraries, API frameworks, and DevOps templates to promote standardization and accelerate future solution delivery.

What You Will Need:

  • 7–10 years of experience in full stack engineering and application architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in React or Next.js and TypeScript.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Node.js, Java, Python Flask, or .NET.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Exposure to next-generation development and automation tools such as n8n, Lovable, Supabase, Figma Make, and similar rapid application development and workflow orchestration platforms.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and authentication/authorization models.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and performance optimization strategies.
  • Experience collaborating in Agile, distributed delivery environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with Generative AI frameworks and orchestration platforms, such as LangChain, LangGraph, Model Context Protocol (MCP), AWS Bedrock Agents, and related ecosystem tools.
  • Experience embedding analytics platforms or AI services into enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code frameworks (Terraform, Bicep, or similar).
