What You Will Do:

As Lead Business Analyst to optimize talent deployment and project staffing for our growing Technology Platform Consulting practice. This role is critical to ensuring our team of experienced practitioners with Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform and AI expertise are strategically assigned to deliver exceptional client outcomes while maintaining high utilization and employee satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:


•    Manage end-to-end resource allocation for a Technology practice consultants across Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE) and Power Platform engagements
•    Collaborate with People Managers, Practice Leaders and Delivery Managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and skill needs for effective staffing decisions
•    Forecast resource capacity and identify gaps in skillsets or availability, proactively developing staffing solutions to meet pipeline demands
•    Balance competing priorities across multiple projects while optimizing consultant utilization rates and minimizing bench time
•    Maintain comprehensive visibility into consultant skills, certifications, experience levels, and career aspirations through regular touchpoints and skills tracking systems
•    Partner with Talent Acquisition to define hiring needs based on pipeline analysis and capacity planning
•    Develop and maintain resource management processes, tools, and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into staffing metrics
•    Conduct regular resource planning meetings with project teams to anticipate staffing needs and resolve conflicts
•    Monitor and report on key metrics including utilization rates, bench time, staffing fulfillment rates, and resource forecasting accuracy
•    Support professional development by aligning project assignments with consultant growth objectives and skill-building opportunities


What You Should Have


•    5 years of experience in resource management, staffing, or workforce planning within a professional services or consulting environment
•    Proven experience managing resource allocation for teams of 75+ people across multiple concurrent projects
•    Demonstrated ability to balance utilization targets with employee development and wellbeing
•    Strong understanding of consulting delivery models, project lifecycles, and billable services
•    Experience with resource management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Resource Management platforms, or similar)
•    Excellent analytical skills with ability to forecast capacity needs and identify trends in resource data
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field


Nice to Have


•    Certifications in Project Management (PMP), Resource Management, or related disciplines
•    Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform in a technical or functional capacity
•    Experience with automation tools and content management tools such as Microsoft Project Operations, Sharepoint, or similar platforms
•    Experience supporting consulting practices through periods of significant growth or transformation
•    Knowledge of workforce analytics and predictive modeling for capacity planning
•    Familiarity with Agile methodologies and how they impact resource planning
