What You Will Do:
The Lead Developer – T3 will be a hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AI-enabled backend services and integrations. This role focuses on building scalable MCP-based services, robust APIs, and secure integrations that support AI agents and enterprise applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to enable standardized communication between AI models, tools, and enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain RESTful and/or event-driven APIs to support AI agents, backend services, and external integrations.
- Collaborate closely with AI engineers, product owners, and architects to translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement backend services using best practices for performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
- Contribute to agent-based and generative AI solutions, supporting orchestration, tool invocation, and contextual data access.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following enterprise development standards.
- Use GitHub for source control, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
- Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments.
- Stay current with evolving AI, API, and MCP ecosystem trends and apply relevant advancements where appropriate.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in backend or full-stack roles.
- 3+ years of experience in API development, including design, implementation, versioning, and integration.
- Hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) concepts or strong experience building extensible server-side integration frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Java, Node.js, or C#.
- Experience developing secure, scalable services using modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Practical experience using GitHub for:
- Source control and branching strategies
- Pull requests and peer code reviews
- CI/CD pipeline integration
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth 2.0, token-based security).
- Experience working in agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Prior experience implementing or extending MCP servers in production environments.
- Experience working with agentic AI platforms, orchestration frameworks, or LLM-based applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, including managed services for APIs and backend workloads.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to CI/CD tooling and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and messaging systems.
- Experience working with observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing).
- Prior experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
