What You Will Do:
As the Lead, Internal Communications – India, you will act as a strategic communications advisor to business leaders and teams across the India region. You will support Guidehouse’s business strategy and brand by shaping compelling internal communication programs, crafting high‑quality content, and ensuring consistent messaging across channels.
This role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution and requires someone who can translate complex business priorities into clear, engaging communications for a diverse, global employee audience. The position is based in Chennai.
Primary areas of responsibility will include:
- Develop and execute internal communication plans that engage employees and reinforce company strategy, using a mix of digital and traditional channels.
- Project‑manage internal communication workflows for the India region, partnering closely with India-based leadership and Global Internal Communications to ensure alignment, message consistency, and strong stakeholder relationships.
- Communicate business updates and leadership priorities through accurate, accessible, and engaging content tailored to a global audience. Provide guidance on cultural nuances, local preferences, and communication best practices.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Human Capital, Marketing, Information Technology, and other areas to understand evolving business needs and adapt communication strategies accordingly.
- Ensure all communications reinforce Guidehouse’s brand, reputation, and strategic direction, maintaining a trusted and authentic organizational voice.
- Measure, analyze, and refine communication efforts to improve effectiveness, support business outcomes, and enhance employee engagement.
What You Will Need:
- Strategic thinker who is results-oriented and can deliver high-value programs at a tactical level.
- Independent worker who can move projects along with little guidance.
- Proven ability to advise internal partners on communications strategies aligned to business objectives; experience with growth or corporate communications preferred.
- Skilled communicator able to work with little guidance.
- Superior writing, presentation, and project management skills.
- Collaborative, team-oriented work style with ability to embrace and drive cultural change.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment and be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Experience with email marketing and digital platforms.
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in internal or external communications, with multi-brand company experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree
