Position Summary:

Guidehouse delivers technology-enabled solutions to life sciences clients across commercial, market access, patient services, and medical affairs business functions. The Director, Life Sciences Technology Delivery (Offshore) serves as the senior offshore leader and execution counterpart to the US Life Sciences Technology team.

This role oversees and scales the offshore Life Sciences Technology capability, ensuring architectural rigor, delivery excellence, and accelerator-driven innovation across business intelligence platforms, workflow orchestration, applied AI solutions, and cloud-based data modernization initiatives. The Director is responsible for establishing a high-performing, senior-level offshore team that can rapidly prototype, industrialize, and scale differentiated solutions aligned to complex life sciences operating models.

Success in this role requires a technically credible leader who combines deep cloud and data expertise with strong operational discipline. The Director will shape the offshore operating model, strengthen reusable capability assets, and serve as a trusted technical authority in client-facing engagements, enabling Guidehouse to deliver innovation-led, domain-specific technology solutions at scale.

What You Will Do:

• Oversee and scale the offshore Life Sciences Technology capability, building and leading a senior-level team focused on high-impact execution across BI, automation, AI-enabled applications, and cloud data modernization
• Translate client requirements across commercial, market access, patient services, and medical affairs functions into structured technical roadmaps and executable delivery plans
• Establish and govern offshore delivery frameworks, including architecture reviews, sprint discipline, DevOps standards, data governance alignment, and quality assurance processes
• Drive rapid prototyping and MVP development using AI-enabled engineering practices and modern cloud-native design patterns
• Develop and institutionalize reusable accelerators, templates, and domain-specific technical assets that strengthen Guidehouse’s differentiated Life Sciences technology offerings
• Optimize offshore delivery economics through disciplined capacity planning, utilization management, and integration of subcontract resources where appropriate
• Partner with US Life Sciences Technology leadership to shape the offshore capability roadmap, support co-investment initiatives, and contribute to solution strategy for priority client engagements
• Serve as senior technical authority in client workshops, architecture discussions, and presales efforts, reinforcing Guidehouse’s credibility in cloud, data, and applied AI domains

What You Will Need:

• 12+ years of progressive experience in technology delivery, with at least 5 years leading offshore or globally distributed engineering teams
• Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud data platforms, analytics ecosystems, workflow automation solutions, and AI-enabled applications
• Proven ability to establish delivery governance models and scale high-performing technical teams within professional services environments
• Deep experience with modern cloud ecosystems (AWS or Azure preferred), data integration frameworks, master data management, and secure architecture patterns
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and agentic/GenAI frameworks to accelerate engineering productivity and solution innovation
• Strong financial and operational acumen, including offshore capacity planning and delivery margin oversight
• Executive-level communication skills with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders and US-based leadership with clarity and authority
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Significant experience delivering technology solutions within biopharma or life sciences commercial and patient services domains
• Prior consulting or professional services leadership experience within a global firm
• Experience incubating new capabilities, developing accelerators, or contributing to platform-based offerings
• Cloud, data, or architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, or related field)
