What You Will Do:
• Draft clear, accurate, and regulator-ready SAR narratives based on investigation findings
• Ensure SARs address the who, what, when, where, why, and how of suspicious activity
• File SARs within prescribed regulatory timelines
• Review escalated cases and identify financial crime typologies and red flags
• Maintain complete documentation and audit trails for all SAR filings
• Address QA feedback and support remediation efforts
• Collaborate with investigators, QA, and compliance stakeholders
• Guide junior analysts on SAR quality and narrative standards
What You Will Need:
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations and SAR filing requirements
• Hands-on experience in SAR drafting and filing
• Excellent written communication and narrative-building skills
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking ability
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases under tight deadlines
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Law, or related field
• 3–4 years of experience in SAR creation
What Would Be Nice To Have:
CAMS / CFE / ICA certification preferred
