What You Will Do:
The AI Development Lead is responsible for designing and building Generative and Agentic AI based functionality in support of documented business needs. The goal of this individual will be to maximize Guidehouse’s investment in the AI platforms and tools, and to ensure that the capabilities are being utilized to their fullest. This position will report to the IT Associate Director of Enterprise Applications.
Essential job functions include:
Review business requirements and functional specifications to create technical specifications.Provide estimates and task planning as needed to support business cases and portfolio prioritization.
Apply technical knowledge and experience to recommend solutions that achieve business requirements.
Design or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering system availability, capacity, operating schedules, and business results.
Document applications in support of policy compliance.
Assess AI tools to select appropriately for each solution with consideration for integration and architecture.
Design, develop, test, and implement functionality in accordance with best practices and the system development life cycle.
May perform as project leader for small projects with limited duration.Direct and monitor the work of junior team members.
Stay current with AI technology advances to ensure that Guidehouse tooling remains relevant and up to date.
Produce work plans in support of project deliverables.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience; OR 10 years of relevant
Minimum 3 years of AI related experience including implementation of new agents/models/functionality
Experience with API development and integration techniques
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while remote
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels
Desire to learn, grow, and seek increased responsibility
Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with OATH 2.0
Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) framework
Experience with Moveworks or similar Agentic AI platforms
Degree in Computer Science, or related field
Preference will be given to candidates who are located within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office
