What You Will Do:

Sales Enablement is part of Guidehouse's growth office, working across the firm to drive continuous improvement in sales performance. The Sales Enablement team contributes to Guidehouse’s growth by bringing best practices in capture, competitive insights and proposal development to segments’ most critical pursuits. 

Competitive Intelligence (CI) is a centralized, cross-segment team charged with developing and delivering market and competitive insights to fuel growth for Guidehouse. Competitive Intelligence services supports public sector and commercial markets and the team is responsible for leading strategic pursuit efforts across the sales lifecycle. As a member of the Team, the Associate in Competitive Intelligence is an individual contributor that will conduct research and analysis in support of public sector and commercial sectors that include:

  • Healthcare & Life Sciences
  • Financial Services
  • Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure
  • Managed Services
  • Defense and National Security
  • State & Local Government

Key responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Gathering publicly available information about key competitors and industry trends that will inform the firm’s ability to grow
  • Producing and maintaining Competitive Intelligence tools in support of Business Development and Growth (databases, reports, presentations, battlecards, competitor playbooks, etc.).
  • Utilizing a variety of third-party tools and publications to provide timely and accurate research and analysis on a wide variety of topics aligned to Guidehouse capabilities and offerings
  • Coordinating with internal leaders to shape requirements and ensure successful delivery


What You Will Need:

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years 
  • Minimum Degree Status: Bachelor's degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program through Fall 2024 and graduate by Summer 2025) 
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country
  • No sponsorship is available for this position


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Highly proficient skill level with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Degree/Majors Preferred: Marketing, Management, Finance, Management Information Systems
  • Analytical background
  • Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
  • Heightened attention to detail
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines 
  • Ability to translate volumes of research into actionable analysis
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation
