What You Will Do:
The Power Platform Development Lead is responsible for designing and building Microsoft Power Platform solutions and functionality in support of documented corporate business needs. The goal of this individual will be to maximize Guidehouse’s investment in the Power Platform and to ensure that the capabilities are being utilized to their fullest. This position will report to the IT Director of Enterprise Applications.
- Review business requirements and functional specifications to create technical specifications.Provides estimates and task planning as needed to support business cases and portfolio prioritization.
- Applies technical knowledge and experience to recommend solutions that achieve business requirements.
- Designs or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering system availability, capacity, operating schedules, and business results.
- Documents applications in support of policy compliance.
- Assesses Power Platform and other low code tools to select appropriately for each solution with consideration for integration and architecture.
- Designs, develops, tests, and implements functionality in accordance with best practices and the system development life cycle.
- May perform as project leader for small projects with limited duration.Directs and monitors the work of junior team members.
- Stays current with technology advances to ensure that Guidehouse tooling remains relevant and up to date.
- Produces work plans in support of project deliverables.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree, plus 4 years of experience OR 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 3 years of Power Platform related experience including implementation of model-driven apps, canvas apps, and cloud flows.
- Experience with Power Platform solution management.
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Power Platform Certification is preferred.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while remote
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels
- Desire to learn, grow, and seek increased responsibility
- Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands
- Degree in Computer Science, or related field
