What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Strategy and Operations (Aerospace & Defense) Senior Analyst will be responsible for evaluating Information Technology (IT) system gaps hindering successful outcomes for large aerospace and defense clients. As an experienced industry professional, the Senior Analyst will also be responsible for recommending network design strategies for meeting requirement outcomes or quality standards, leading Consultant- or Analyst-level staff towards timely execution, and identifying new client challenges to solve.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Support a team of requirements analysts focused on consolidating requirements across both government and/or industry
- Engage with internal technology groups (e.g., CIO) to ensure that proposed technical solutions align with the client’s overall objectives
- Develop and maintain reference architectures or data models with appropriate technical roadmap for implementation
- Conduct current state feasibility studies on organizational system and data sufficiency towards meeting technical requirements
- Develop strategies to gain customer buy-in towards a common operating picture, solution architecture, and roadmap for execution
- Define and document audit and review checklists ensuring compliance to enterprise standards
- Research and recommend cost-effective government-approved technologies, frameworks, and systems towards achieving the desired future state
What You Will Need:
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- EIGHT (8) or more years of experience relevant to Information Technology Consulting or Systems Engineering or Data Management and/or Project/ Program Management
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline preferred
- TEN (10) years of experience in A&D production, acquisition, engineering and/or supply chain management (commercial and/or federal)
- Experience in Federal Accounting, Asset Management and/or Financial Management
- Aerospace Engineering certification
- PMP certification
- DAIWA Level III certification in one of the following:
- Sustaining Engineering
- Maintenance Planning and Management
- Design Interface
- Certification and/or experience in Continuous Improvement (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints)
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, flexible, fast-paced environment
- Ability to promptly adapt, respond quickly to new information and changing scope in a matrix organization
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel
