What You Will Do:

Our Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Compliance and Oversight Activities Analyst will support our Department of Defense Intelligence Customer by:

  • Conducting OSINT Activity Audits.

  • Ensuring OSINT activities are in compliance with requirements from DOD Manuals, Regulations, Operations Orders, and similar legal and policy guidance.

  • Use designated data science scripts to search each audited account focusing on improper use according to policy.

  • Reviews log search results to compile the findings based on results from dirty word lists, unauthorized domains, and behavior not compliant with the Managed Attribution Terms of Use (TOU) and Army Regulation (AR) 381-10.

  • Maintains key logs for potential Questionable Intelligence Activities (QIAs) reporting or TOU investigations.

  • This position is 100% onsite at client location with limited telework options.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET with SCI (TS/SCI) Federal or DoD security clearance

  • FIVE or more (5+) years of experience in conducting or supporting OSINT in the defense or Intelligence community

  • Experience assessing compliance with requirements from DOD Manuals, Army Regulations, INSCOM Operations Orders, and similar legal and policy guidance.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • RStudio experience preferred, but Python is also acceptable.

  • IT auditing or IT Controls experience

  • Experience preparing software scripts to search each audited user accounts based on internal controls or policy (ex. R and /or Python) 

  • Experience reviewing audit results to compile the findings based on results

  • Knowledge or experience conducting or supporting OSINT in the Defense or Intelligence community

  • Demonstrated strong writing skills and other communication skills

  • Demonstrated influencing skills, position requires delivering, grading, and ensuring the completion of critical tasks

  • Relevant certification(s)

  • US Military staff and/or joint experience
