What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and publish interactive eLearning modules, courses, and assessments using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, SnagIT, or similar.
  • Support the creation of individual learning items and comprehensive learning programs.
  • Work to agreed design quality standards and processes, utilizing approved templates and tools.
  • Collaborate with other instructional designers and learning professionals to continually improve the speed, efficiency, and quality of design and development.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of eLearning projects from inception to completion.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including instructional designers, developers, content creators, and subject matter experts to define project scope, content requirements, and deliverables.
  • Translate learning objectives into effective digital content with input from instructional designers, SMEs, and multimedia specialists.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance of learning products to ensure functionality across browsers and devices.
  • Maintain and update existing eLearning materials based on feedback, updates, or changes in learning content.
  • Conduct independent research to better understand learner and business requirements for each learning program.

What You Will Need

  • 3+ years of experience developing eLearning content in a corporate or academic environment.
  • Proficiency with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, SnagIT).
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, various learning theories, and models.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and how adults learn best.
  • Experience working with LMS platforms, including uploading, and troubleshooting course content.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including styles, table of contents, headers/footers, page numbering configuration tabs, tables, multimedia integration (graphics, video, audio), animation, transitions, and timings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What Would Be Nice to Have

  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
  • Creativity and innovation in the use of language, graphics, animations, interactions, audio, and video within eLearning content.
