This position is offered on a 3 (THREE) month Fixed Term Contract.

What You Will Do:

As a Data Analyst, you will work on a project to implement capabilities for an enterprise financial software system and web application on an Agile product development team. You will analyze requirements, develop user stories, and work closely with stakeholders, UX designers, application architects, and developers to ensure technical and system requirements are accounted for. You will also work closely with the Scrum Master and Product Owner to plan and organize Sprints. Additional responsibilities will include: 

  • Work alongside the Product team and consult with business stakeholders to map current state, perform gap analysis and identify data needs 

  • Design, build, roll out and maintain data pipelines, dashboards and reports that meet business needs, with a focus on usability, performance, and data trust. 

  • Migrate existing spreadsheets, manual reports, and legacy dashboards into scalable, automated data solutions. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and freshness. 

  • Perform data gathering, analysis and reconciliation tasks, and develop data strategy governance tools and materials, including “how to” playbooks

  • Monitor pipeline health and data quality, proactively identifying and fixing problems before they impact users. 

  • Build curated, analytics-ready datasets to support self-serve reporting with embedded guardrails. 

  • Maintain clean, consistent documentation for datasets, pipelines, dashboards, and integration points. 

  • Support API-based integrations between systems and work with engineers to ensure end-to-end data delivery is stable and well-instrumented. 

  • Implement data governance requirements (e.g. access control, retention) in line with internal and regulatory standards. 

  • Act as a hands-on data expert for business users and Data Champions by providing support, training, and best practices to encourage adoption and trust in delivered data

  • Develop solutions tailored to client workflow and operations

  • Assist in the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a DataStrategy Analyst 

  • Intelligence/visualization, (exploratory) data analysis and trending, modeling

  • Strong working knowledge of large, complex data environments

  • Expert ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with all levels of executives, staff, and clients

  • Ability to work independently or with limited supervision

  • Possess critical thinking, problem solving, and initiative/proactive skills

  • Experience in understanding and applying data analytics solutions

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)

  • Experience with developing impactful dashboards using at least one visualization tool (Qlik preferred)


What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience in statistical and mathematical modeling (i.e., regression analysis, simulation, impact analyses, geographic analyses, performance measurement/management)

  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) (Desirable)
