This posting is for several levels. This is a pipeline posting collecting resumes for a potential hire Q1 2024.
What You Will Do:
Responsibilities include supporting client’s stakeholder engagement team with broad engagement with stakeholders, particularly for stakeholders involved with clean energy demonstrations at the national, regional, tribal, state and local levels including government agencies, tribal organizations, industry representatives, manufacturers, non-profit organizations, and advocacy groups. Specific responsibilities may include:
Coach and Lead a team of 2-5 junior staff
Supporting federal energy clients with design, formulation, and implementation of their stakeholder engagement plans
Developing engagement strategies, developing engagement content, supporting stakeholder workshops and outreach efforts, and tracking engagement
Managing detailed research and analysis on energy-related activities including conducting market research and analyzing market trends
Managing analyses and model development; data collection; spreadsheet creation and management
Designing strategic planning frameworks and assisting with planning processes and plan development
QCing reports and other deliverables for clients
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline
1 -10 years of industry related experience
Experience with utility-scale clean energy projects, NGOs and energy sector organizations
Ability to travel as needed
Knowledge of U.S. Department of Energy programs
Stakeholder engagement experience
Strong interest in clean energy such as: hydrogen hubs; direct air capture; long-duration energy storage; carbon management; advanced nuclear, industrial decarbonization; clean energy in rural or remote areas; clean energy on mine lands; and/or, relevant experience in these fields
Must currently reside in the USA
The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described
This hybrid position (candidate must be flexible, one to three days a week in the Guidehouse or Client office - DC) is open to candidates virtually from Arlington, VA
The salary range for this role may vary based on relevant degree, work experience and physical location at time of hire
Level of hire will be determined through Guidehouse interviewing process
