What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Management Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where the individual will provide data management support in support of organizational and mission goals, and support decision-making for large-scale programs within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, document, implement, provide consultation on the application of, and ensure compliance with, requirements for use of client tools, processes and standards.

  • Provide training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs.

  • Ensure regulatory requirements are met. Identify and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability.

  • Provide configuration management, coordinate change, perform assessments of compliance and manage the implementation of product standards across Agency business units and programs.

  • Represent Agency interests on external standards committees and develop, adapt and/or adopt external standards for internal use.

  • Develop, maintain and distribute engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity.

  • Collect, analyze and validate engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs. Works under general direction.


What You Will Need:

  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to receive a DHS Public Trust

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • THREE (3) or more years of data analytics experience


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science or related field

  • 3+ years of professional related experience in data engineering, with a focus on processing large datasets

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks Lakehouse Platform

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java

  • Experience with big data processing technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or AWS

  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data management principles

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Management.

  • 2+ years of experience with US Federal Agency data

  • Proven ability to embrace change, lead continuous improvement, and treat safety and quality as top priorities.

  • Experience working in a cross-functional team.

  • Experience working with senior and executive leadership

  • Knowledge of Informatica AXON/IDQ, Collibra or other Data Quality tool

  • Thorough business understanding of data management applications and ability to communicate with key decision-makers
