What You Will Do

The Enterprise Workforce Solutions (EWS) team is part of the Human Capital organization at Guidehouse and is a critical partner to the client service delivery segments at Guidehouse, enabling outstanding client service, revenue generation and a compelling employee experience. The team manages enterprise-wide efforts to deliver staffing solutions through process and automation, assists with large-scale project deployment, facilitates internal mobility with a focus on employee-generated requests, manages the talent process for Guidehouse’s non-employee workforce and leads strategic workforce planning.

The EWS Reporting & Technical Associate is a critical part of that team, creating and delivering regular analytics and insights. They are the functional expert on the IT systems and data analysis for the EWS function, serving as the go-to person for a standardized set of reports and analysis used across the enterprise to support project staffing, strategic workforce planning, and total talent management.

This position reports to the EWS Staffing Process Optimization Lead. This position interacts directly with IT, human capital, and finance personnel in a dynamic, challenging and collegial environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Applying sound business judgement, design and develop reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that drive operational and executive level insights, including analysis and dashboards related to strategic workforce planning, total talent mix, internal mobility demographics, and self-service tool / process effectiveness

  • Advise business leaders on process improvements based on data analysis and KPIs

  • Determine technical requirements based on internal client needs, making recommendations on enhancements to existing reports or new novel analyses

  • Liaise with Finance and IT to develop and test reporting and system enhancements

  • Escalate issues, as applicable, to the EWS Staffing Process Optimization Lead

  • Participate as an active member of the EWS team, identifying and deploying continual process improvement and standardization across the enterprise

  • Any other duties requested by the EWS Staffing Process Optimization Lead to support overall EWS function

Other qualifications for the role are listed below:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university plus 2+ years of professional experience OR 6+ years of professional experience in lieu of degree.

  • 2+ years of related experience, specifically in the areas of reporting and data analysis

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI, utilizing intermediate to advanced functions and data aggregation / analysis techniques

  • Strong data management experience, particularly with high volumes of data

  • Ability to translate data into meaningful business insights

  • Demonstrated digital literacy with an interest in learning new systems and software as required

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task and appropriately set / manage priorities

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of existing processes, systems and relationships and identify future process improvements to enable increased productivity, efficiency, and quality

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop relationships of trust and confidence quickly and carefully across both internal and external stakeholders at all levels across an organization

  • Demonstrated experience interacting with end-users to understand and document business and functional requirements

  • Strong critical thinking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exhibit an analytical mind, a strong intellectual curiosity

  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, while also being an exceptional team player

  • Adaptable to changing environments

  • A demonstrable willingness to work more than 40 hours as needed to support business requests

  • United States Citizenship


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Previous experience in human resources, talent acquisition or resourcing / staffing

  • Experience with Workday

  • Demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle

The annual salary range for this position is $65,900.00-$98,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
