What You Will Do:

The Advanced Manufacturing Cybersecurity Managing Consultant will serve as a key member of Guidehouse’s AdvM cybersecurity and identity advisory team, supporting research, development, and pilot demonstrations across smart manufacturing, additive manufacturing, composites, highly conductive materials, cybersecurity for manufacturing, and resilient operations in harsh environments. This role supports the Guidehouse Technology Cybersecurity and Defense Segment in securing the supply chain with a strong emphasis on identity, access governance, and Zero Trust-aligned architectures.

What You Will Need:

  • A minimum of FIVE (5) years of identity management policy, governance, and/or implementation experience, preferably across large, federated stakeholder communities.
  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust; candidates with an active Public Trust or Suitability are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Government identity standards, particularly:
    • NIST SP 800‑63‑3 (Digital Identity Guidelines)
    • Additional NIST, OMB, and federal ICAM/Zero Trust guidance relevant to authentication, federation, lifecycle management, credentialing, and access control.
  • Experience developing Zero Trust Architectures and comprehensive Identity Management Frameworks that align with federal requirements and support complex cross-organizational missions.
  • Ability to develop trust and federation maps for identity profiles across diverse DoD stakeholders, mission partners, commercial manufacturers, and allied organizations.
  • Experience creating ZTA-aligned policy enforcement models, including data flow mapping, continuous monitoring constructs, threat detection integration points, and adaptive access capabilities.
  • Competency in developing IAM frameworks that articulate:
    • Authoritative identity sources
    • Credential standards
    • Authentication and access protocols
    • Entitlement models
    • Roles and segregation of duties
    • Governance and policy structures
  • Ability to map NIST and federal ICAM requirements to enterprise access control policies and identify opportunities to mature security approaches (e.g., attribute-based access control, identity assurance scaling, contextual access decisions, geo‑based or risk‑based policy enforcement, data minimization or redaction strategies).

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Experience or certifications with major identity platforms such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or Microsoft Entra
  • ISC2 Zero Trust Certificate
