What You Will Do?
Guidehouse is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Portfolio and Program Management Office (PMO) Leader to support the strategic direction, management, and modernization of the organization’s technology portfolio. The IT PMO Leader will serve as a key advisor and partner to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise IT initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist the CIO in developing and executing Guidehouse’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business objectives.
Work closely with IT, Segment, and Corporate Function leaders to drive the adoption of technology solutions across Guidehouse’s operational and development value streams
Establish and measure Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for, and lead cross-functional teams to implement, technology-enabled business solutions that drive growth, operational efficiency, and innovation.
Establish and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for, and lead cross-functional governance to orchestrate, day-to-day operations of the IT office, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, data management, and service delivery.
Support digital transformation projects, including cloud migration, automation, and adoption of emerging technologies such as AI/ML.
Foster a culture of service excellence, agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the IT ecosystem, always striving to demonstrate Guidehouse’s IT performance is the envy of the industry.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Guidehouse’s internal policies related to IT security and data privacy.
Develop and manage IT budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
Drive high levels of people engagement by maintaining a highly collaborative and inclusive work environment and providing mentorship and professional development opportunities to IT staff.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with information systems and technology operations.
Represent the IT department in executive meetings, committees, and stakeholder engagements as required.
What you will need:
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
15+ years’ experience in information technology management, with a proven record in a leadership role within a complex organization.
Demonstrated expertise in enterprise IT strategy, operations, and project management.
Strong experience with digital transformation, scaled agile development, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, AI/ML, lean portfolio management, and IT governance frameworks.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigate organizational change.
Skilled in building relationships with business stakeholders and influencing at all levels.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Relevant certifications (e.g., Product Leadership, PMP / SAFe, AI / ML, ITIL / IT4IT) are a plus.
Experience leading a large IT portfolio for a large Technology Services provider.
