What You Will Do:
The Project Management Consultant will be responsible for supporting engagements in the Military Health System (MHS) and assisting with senior-level decision making processes. The consultant will also support business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development.

  • Support the development of work products and deliverables for client Leadership.

  • Take detailed minutes notes during client leadership meetings and manage due outs; follow-up with stakeholders, as needed.

  • Coordinate and support in-person client meetings in Falls Church, VA.

  • Manage recurring tasks.

  • Develop slide decks / presentations and Memorandums to/from Senior Leaders.

  • Develop weekly and monthly reports/deliverables to show progress, as well as document lessons learned.


What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum ONE (1) year of administrative related experience


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Program management and/or management consulting experience.

  • Interest in federal healthcare administration.

  • Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products and related applications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive leadership.

  • Ability to quickly understand topics that are new or unfamiliar and develop clear notes in various minute formats.

  • Ability to handle demanding situations with clarity, focus and professionalism, and respond quickly to quick turnaround taskers.

  • Ability to organize, perform, and track multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. 

  • Ability to manage deadlines and recurring deliverables.
