What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate the acclimation of new hires, helping them integrate into the company culture and environment.

  • Assist with the implementation, monitoring and tracking of the 30/60/90 day and beyond plan for new hires, ensuring a structured and supportive introduction to their roles.

  • Conduct onboarding sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, procedures, and values.

  • Be first level support for questions from new hires, employees, managers, executives and HR colleagues regarding the new hire process and experience.

  • Manage the I-9 verification process and utilize e-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.

  • Proactively maintain and administer accurate and timely HR data in our global Human Capital Management system (HCM)

  • Input, update and reconcile data as required to ensure information is current and accurate in our HCM.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all onboarding activities and documentation.

  • Provide support for a range of HR administrative processes supporting the employee lifecycle, including such areas as new hires, employee conversions, and changes in start date.

  • Engage in cross-functional communication within the organization and may interact with external entities such as clients and suppliers to streamline the onboarding process.

  •  Oversee projects and assign tasks to junior team members, ensuring efficient task distribution and project progression.

  • Contribute to the on-going development of the HR knowledge base and intranet to help employees quickly and easily find answers their questions via self-service

  • Test new HCM enhancements prior to general release

  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in HR processes and documentation

  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects as directed by team leader

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. 

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Human Resources preferred

  • Solid verbal, written, interpersonal and telephone communication skills are required

  • Possess a strong customer service orientation while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentially with each interaction

  • Familiarity and understanding of HR policies and procedures

  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook skills

  • Ability to work on-site 1-3 days per week in Tysons Corner, VA (dates/times will vary based on meetings and working sessions).

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with Workday (HMC) and/or case management systems (such as ServiceNow) desired
