What You Will Do:

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and integrations that ingest, transform, and model data from enterprise systems
  • Develop robust SQL‑based data models, including dimensional and star schema designs, to support analytics and reporting
  • Implement and maintain semantic models that clearly define business logic and metrics
  • Work independently to own end‑to‑end technical delivery, from requirements through implementation and validation
  • Partner with Finance, Analytics, and Engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Contribute to improving data quality, reliability, and maintainability across the platform
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate on architectural decisions, while remaining primarily hands‑on

What You Will Need:

  • Strong hands‑on experience designing and building data pipelines and data integrations
  • Deep expertise in SQL‑based data modeling and transformations
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, semantic modeling, and star schema design
  • Experience working with cloud‑based data platforms (data warehouse, lakehouse, or similar)
  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver high‑quality solutions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical designs to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor, not a people manager
  • Expert level understanding of Data Mesh concepts (Data products, Data governance, etc)
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience; Or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience working with Domain specific data products ( Finance data or Finance‑related systems, HR Data, etc)
  • Familiarity with configuring, maintaining, and administering modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), though specific platform experience is not required
  • Experience operating in environments with evolving data sources and reporting requirements

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$216,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
