What You Will Do:
Opportunity to work on a highly visible project for DHS project. This project has multiple opportunities for strategic communications through internal and external channels. The sits directly under the leadership team and manages the communications strategy for all units, section and teams across the Program. Tasks include written and digital content creation and management, stakeholder engagement strategy, data visualization and reporting, training, and other communications and strategy opportunities. Opportunity to shape the Program’s communications and training initiatives. Providing critical communications, event, and training support that is the voice of the Program. Our initiatives have built websites and the communications and training portfolios from the ground up, resulting in stronger stakeholder engagement, audience enhancement, and training support for DHS staff. The scope of the project is broad and allows contractors to develop new innovative ways that impact the client from day one.
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
Bachelor's Degree
FIVE (5) or more years of experience in strategic communications
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Active DHS Public Trust
Experience doing strategic communication work within DHS law enforcement space
Strategic communication experience for internal and external Agency asks
Training development experience in a law enforcement space
Strong writing and deck development skills in MS Office Suite
