What You Will Do:

As a Federal Health Managing Consultant at Guidehouse, you will lead and manage engagement activities focused on healthcare enterprise portfolio strategy, design, and delivery. This role involves guiding conversations on healthcare system design and capital planning, overseeing the creation of impactful deliverables, and developing strategies to address complex challenges in the healthcare sector. You will work closely with clients and internal experts to drive effective outcomes and ensure project success.

  • Lead delivery and management of engagement activities related to healthcare enterprise portfolio strategy, design, and delivery.

  • Guide client and internal subject matter expert conversations on healthcare system design, delivery, and capital planning towards effective outcomes.

  • Oversee creation of compelling deliverables that engage technical and non-technical audiences to drive responsible decisions in long-term healthcare system design, delivery, and capital planning at every level of a client's organization.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks around scope, schedule, and quality, effectively escalating to engagement leadership.

  • Develop strategies and solutions to solve complex healthcare system design, delivery, and capital planning challenges for our healthcare clients.


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college.

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience with a focus on the healthcare and/or management consulting industry

  • Expertise in healthcare enterprise system strategy, design, delivery, and capital planning

  • Experience in creating deliverables for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proven track record in identifying and mitigating project risks, with effective escalation to leadership.

  • Track record of developing strategies and solutions to solve complex challenges unique to the healthcare industry.

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (US citizenship required).


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Defense, Military Health System, or commercial healthcare

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
