What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is currently seeking operations consulting professionals in support of Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition & Sustainment (A&S) clients to improve operations and outcomes for major A&S Programs, supporting industrial base management, supply chain operations, and advanced manufacturing.  Team members will be responsible for technical project delivery, cost/schedule/performance management, and identifying new client challenges to solve.   

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Support consulting projects for major DoD programs to deliver supply chain, industrial base, and manufacturing operations improvement and modernization

  • Serve as a point of contact for government stakeholders, providing guidance and status updates

  • Support cross-functional teams to achieve program goals

  • Identify, assess, and implement operations improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness

  • Engage with stakeholders across the client enterprise to build consensus and design solutions align with the client’s overall objectives

  • Support day-to-day project team activities to gain customer buy-in towards a common operating picture, solution architecture, and roadmap for execution 

  • Research and recommend cost-effective government-approved technologies, frameworks, and systems towards achieving the desired future state 

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • TWO (2) or more years of experience in consulting, industry, or Government in Acquisition & Sustainment

  • Experience supporting complex programs, ideally in DoD

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Must be currently authorized to work in the country 

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance

  • Bachelors or Advanced degree in business, engineering, or related field

  • FIVE (5) or more years of experience in DoD acquisition, sustainment, industrial base management, and/or supply chain management

  • Experience supporting DoD Programs to establish new capabilities or improve operational performance

  • Experience leading small client-facing teams through the lifecycle of a consulting engagement

  • Experience developing written communication materials for senior level clients

  • Ability to excel in a dynamic organization, adapting and responding quickly to new information and/or evolving requirements

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
