What You Will Do:
As a Technology Product/Project Manager, you will drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives. You will serve as the primary liaison between leadership and implementation teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into actionable solutions and the project is managed efficiently and aligned with compliance requirements. In addition to managing the product backlog and prioritizing features, you will drive project management practices to manage schedule, scope, risk, and quality.
Product Management & Vision Support
Support communication of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Collaborate in product backlog refinement and prioritization.
Engage stakeholders and end users to gather feedback and inform direction.
Provide oversight of deliverables and artifacts developed by the team.
Project Management
Establish a clear definition of success for the program in alignment with client expectations.
Define activities, tasks, milestones, controls, and artifacts.
Identify and manage project schedule, cross‑team dependencies, risks, and compliance requirements.
Proactively manage risk by identifying delivery risks, mitigation, and escalation.
Monitoring project execution against delivery requirements.
Collaborate across multi-disciplinary team of functional leads, analysts, engineers, solution architects, and consultants.
Support compliance activities such as traceability from requirements to deliverables.
Iterative Delivery
Facilitate development related ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and ensure they are productive and timeboxed.
Track and communicate team performance using defined metrics and KPIs.
Foster a culture of servant leadership, mentoring team members and encouraging ownership of deliverables.
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and communications are clear.
Present product updates, metrics, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops, demos, and user acceptance testing sessions.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree - minimum education required.
Minimum FIVE (5) years of professional experience in product/project management.
Strong project management skills managing schedule, scope, risk, and quality.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
Preference will be given to candidate's located within the DC Metropolitan area.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with COTS or Platform-based solution.
Modern agile/product delivery leadership; not solely traditional waterfall PM.
Direct experience with large-scale solutions and implementations.
Knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry.
