What You Will Do:
Guidehouse has an aggressive growth strategy for its Health Financial Crime, Fraud, and Investigative Services practice. Guidehouse is currently seeking candidates with relevant fraud, regulatory compliance, and/or investigations experience (e.g. litigation and/or disputes consulting, forensic accounting, operational and/or compliance consulting) or relevant health care operations management at any/all of the following: public health agencies, payer/providers, life sciences companies, law firms, and/or regulators/enforcement agencies (DOJ, OIG etc.).
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assist with health and life sciences compliance, audit, and risk consulting engagements across public health agencies, payer/ providers, life sciences companies and/or regulatory/government (DOJ, OIG etc.).
- Provide support for fraud and/or bribery and corruption investigations.
- Assist in the development and delivery of proposals to
prospective clients. - Assist in the development and production of reports, presentations, analyses, and memos summarizing observations, trends, findings, and/or recommendations.
- Flexibility with respect to assigned tasks and engagements due to challenging deadlines, changing deliverables, and evolving task priorities.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
What You Will Need:
- A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited college/university.
- Minimum 7 years of fraud, regulatory compliance, and/or
investigations experience or relevant health care operations management at any/all of the following: public health agencies, payer/ providers, life sciences companies and/or regulatory/government (DOJ, OIG etc.). - Strong understanding of public health, payer/provider, and/or life sciences regulations, standards, common fraud or waste abuse schemes, and common corruption and best practices.
- Certified Public Accountant or accounting background
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Must be willing to travel. Travel requirements vary based on project and client needs.
- In the New York City (NYC) or Washington D.C. area, or willing to relocate at own expense if not currently based there.
- Able and willing to come into Guidehouse's NYC or Tysons Corner office 3 days per week for internal meetings and work at clients' locations when required.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience working at two or more of the following: public health agency, payer/provider, life sciences company, regulator, or enforcement agency.
- Familiarity with case management tools and data analytics.
- Experience with Corporate Integrity Agreements.
- Experience with compliance program reviews and/or development and implementation for payer/providers and/or life science companies.
- Experience with internal investigations of fraud and/or bribery and corruption for public health agencies, payer/providers, and/or life science companies.
