What You Will Do:

As an AV Specialist you will monitor all client Audio/Video devices, including:

  • Classrooms/Conference Rooms - Monitors, Cameras, Speakers, Connections, and Streaming Devices, ePosters and Information Kiosks

  • Support personnel that visit the client site as guests, or as presenters.

As the AV Specialist, you will be the first responder for room and special event functionality.

Daily Duties Include:

  • Ensuring all rooms are functional at least 90% of the calendar year.

  • Performing daily system checks of rooms scheduled for use

  • Training staff and guest instructors on use of AV equipment, podium controls, etc.

  • Assisting with presentation issues (PowerPoint, laptop connections, audio troubleshooting, remote broadcasting, video presentations, etc.)

  • Conducting recommended maintenance or scheduling AV Vendor for maintenance

  • Controlling AV inventory – spare projector bulbs, laser pointers, lapel microphones, etc.)

  • Ensuring Cable broadcasts are functioning in rooms and remote TVs

  • Assisting with kiosks, ePosters and other displays (Smartboards, surface hubs, etc.)

  • VTC Conference rooms support – assisting users connect devices and start calls

  • Providing general IT support to client as required

  • Propose and review upgrade and AV design proposals to improve the client's presentation abilities.

  • Maintain room schedule and coordinate with with teammates on room availability and repair/maintenance schedules.

  • Assist with Video Conferences; WebEx, MS Teams, Adobe Connect, etc. for TR support. Maintain AV related software subscriptions.

  • Assist with the management of ePosters and informational Kiosks 


What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • GED or High school diploma

  • ONE (1) or more years' experience with audiovisual (AV) support

  • Experience with Federal Government, DoD, or Intelligence Community customers
