The AI Technical Product Lead translates complex business and mission challenges into scalable AI-enabled solutions. Operating at the intersection of stakeholders, process design, and technical architecture, this role turns ambiguity into structured solution pathways that deliver measurable impact and evolve into production systems.
What You Will Do:
- Diagnose business pain points and decompose ambiguous challenges into structured processes, data flows, and automation opportunities
- Define measurable value hypotheses, business cases, and outcome metrics prior to build
- Design and frame scalable GenAI solution architectures including RAG, agentic workflows, multi-agent patterns, human-in-the-loop systems, and secure enterprise deployments
- Evaluate data, model, cloud, and orchestration tradeoffs (cost, risk, scalability) across major AI platforms.
- Define MVP and proof-of-value slices that deliver measurable impact while de-risking future production builds
- Ensure solution designs align with security, compliance, and governance constraints.
- Estimate build complexity and guide sprint-level planning
- Translate solution designs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Manage and prioritize backlogs aligned to defined value outcomes
- Facilitate agile delivery and remove cross-functional blockers
- Serve as primary interface for senior stakeholders, translating AI tradeoffs into business implications
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"
- Based on our contractual obligations, candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen
- 8+ years of experience in product management, solution strategy, or technology delivery
- Demonstrated experience translating business problems into scalable technology solutions
- Practitioner-level understanding of GenAI architecture patterns including LLM components, RAG, embeddings, vector and graph storage fundamentals, and agentic workflow design
- Working knowledge of major cloud AI service ecosystems
- Experience operating in regulated or high-complexity environments
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and estimation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Innovative mindset and a passion for experimentation
Note: This role does not require hands-on coding, model training, or deep MLOps expertise.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Exposure to Azure AI, AWS Bedrock or SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI ecosystems
- Experience designing secure AI deployments in regulated environments
- Consulting experience in matrixed organizations
- Experience in defense, national security, health care, or other highly regulated sectors
- Certifications such as Azure AI Fundamentals, AWS AI Practitioner, Google Cloud AI certifications, CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or PMP
