What You Will Do:

Weare seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cybersecurity Regulatory & Contract Associate Director to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing cybersecurity sections of contractual agreements to determine whether Guidehouse can be amenable to the requirements. This position will review contractual obligations for alignment with internal information security frameworks, policies, and client expectations.

The Cybersecurity Regulatory & Contract Associate Director will be the point of contact within IT Security to collaborate with multiple departments such as IT, legal, and business units to understand necessary cybersecurity regulatory requirements that can be agreed to within client agreements.

Additionally, the Cybersecurity Regulatory & Contract Associate Director will assist the GRC team with facilitating client audits, reviewing client questionnaires, and reviewing State regulatory requirements.

In this role you will:

  • Review and interpret Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), RFPs, and other contractual documents for cybersecurity obligations.
  • Translate legal and regulatory requirements into actionable internal commitments and ensure alignment with organizational policies and certifications (e.g., ISO, NIST, State).
  • Assist with negotiation of information security requirement redlines with the Contracts team.
  • Maintain a centralized tracker for contract information security obligations to support implementation monitoring and audit readiness.
  • Participate in audit walkthroughs where needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between legal, information security, and proposal teams to ensure mutual understanding of contract terms and information security expectations.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract-related information security requirements and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with changes in the regulatory landscape for information security.


What You Will Need:

  • Requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience; or 14 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks at the federal and state levels in the U.S. as well as international standards
  • Must be able to work East Coast US business hours
  • Requires expertise in theories, concepts, and principles to drive results for the organization, and applies extensive business and industry expertise
  • Experience conducting contract reviews
  • Experience working with Executive leadership
  • A highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail, project management skills, organization, oral and written communication skills


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Legal background
  • Have a legal certification such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional – International - SCCE
  • At least one of the following security certifications:
    • ISC2 Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP)
    • ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
    • ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
    • CompTIA Security+
  • Working knowledge of Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and document new regulations
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are located within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office.

The annual salary range for this position is $149,000.00-$248,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
