What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data scientists, and software engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts and model capabilities to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Develop and maintain production-grade code  and data pipeline documentation for data systems and products in support of regulatory programs.
  • Build and optimize data models and systems.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to support decision making.
  • Develop, and stay abreast of industry best practices in data engineering,  interactive data visualizations\Business Intelligence (i.e. Qlik and Posit), AI,  and machine learning technologies (ML) in Databricks.
  • Support the development of regulatory systems and other quality surveillance related automation in the cloud environment, including module improvements using data analytics and machine learning. .
  • Use version control software (i.e. Git) to work on data science projects in a team environment.
  • Prepare technical reports and/or presentations on data science projects.

What You Will Need:

  • US Citizenship is required
  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • Minimum ONE (1) year of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role
  • Experience in working with unstructured data sources (e.g., text,  images, audio) and structured data (i.e., Oracle, SQL, Microsoft Excel).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, and R).
  • Proficient programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other relevant frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Experience in building and deploying production-grade data systems or products.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and methods, such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and time series analysis.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven projects or products.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Familiarity with financial data sources, regulations, and industry-specific use cases such as fraud, know-your-customer, forecasting, credit risk management, pricing and revenue optimization, Fair Lending, and/or ESG, among others.
  • Experience working with health, clinical or regulatory data or related life science areas.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in numeric computing Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas/Polars, Streamlit, and Scikit-learn.
  • Understanding of machine learning and deep learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
  • Technical/product management and software experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $77,000.00-$129,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
