What You Will Do:

The Director & Life Sciences Technology Leader, Market Access, is responsible for shaping and delivering innovative technology and data-driven solutions that enable market access excellence for biopharma organizations. This leader combines deep expertise in access-related business processes with advanced technology consulting capabilities to design, implement, and scale platforms, data products, and analytics-enabled solutions that support payer engagement, pricing and contracting operations, reimbursement workflows, and value demonstration.

The Director partners with senior client stakeholders to define technology vision and roadmaps, drive execution of complex programs, and deliver measurable impact through scalable, compliant, and high-performing analytics-enabled platforms and data products that operationalize data and insights within business workflows. This role owns and scales a portfolio of market access technology capabilities, platforms, and data products and is accountable for driving growth, innovation, and revenue within Guidehouse’s Life Sciences Technology practice, working in close coordination with Market Access Advisory Service Line leadership to align technology solutions with evolving business priorities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Drive business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, leading sales efforts, and being accountable for revenue targets within the market access technology portfolio.

· Own and evolve a portfolio of technology assets, accelerators, and reusable components supporting pricing, contracting, and access operations.

· Advise clients on market access technology strategy, platform selection, and implementation roadmaps to enable payer engagement, pricing and contracting operations, reimbursement, and access analytics capabilities.

· Define, architect, and scale technology-enabled solutions including pricing and contracting platforms, contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, revenue management systems, data platforms, analytics-enabled products, and workflow tools.

· Oversee integration of advanced analytics, AI/ML, and automation into platforms and workflows to enable real-time, scalable decision support across pricing, contracting, and access operations.

· Lead and oversee multiple engagements, ensuring delivery excellence, quality control, and client satisfaction.

· Mentor and develop consulting staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.

· Continuously monitor industry trends, including evolving pricing models, contracting structures, and access data assets, to inform solution development.

· Support firm-building activities including thought leadership, capability development, and go-to-market strategy.


What You Will Need:

·Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

· Minimum 10 years of experience in life sciences consulting or industry, with a focus on technology, data, and analytics-enabled solutions.

· Proven experience leading complex technology programs supporting market access, pricing, or contracting operations.

· Strong understanding of platforms and data supporting pricing, contracting, reimbursement, and access decision-making.

· Demonstrated ability to manage senior client relationships and lead multidisciplinary teams.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

· Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH, PhD, or similar).

· Experience with AI/ML, data engineering, and cloud-based platforms.

· Expertise in pricing and contracting systems, contract lifecycle management (CLM), revenue management, and analytics-enabled platforms.

· Prior consulting experience with top-tier firms or leadership roles in life sciences technology.

· Experience building and commercializing technology-enabled solutions and data products.

The annual salary range for this position is $226,000.00-$376,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
