What You Will Do:

 As a Healthcare IT Advisory - Management Consultant you will assess, implement and enhance IT Advisory solutions for commercial healthcare clients, including cybersecurity, cloud, and IT strategy and operations. Our team is helping our clients increase their overall IT maturity through the use of IT assessments, IT strategy and operating model enhancements, and implementation of IT transformation to help increase overall IT maturity. We are looking for an IT professional who is proficient with cloud security, IT strategy and strategic cyber operations.  

Responsibilities of our IT Advisory Managing Consultants include:

  • Be an active team member on IT consulting engagements working with your team and client to deliver the highest quality of work 
  • Assess current IT current state and provide recommendations for future state  
  • Refresh and establish IT policies and procedures  
  • Advise on IT roadmap and implementation plans for approved future state 
  • Lead client meetings and be proactive with product development  
  • Work across multiple stakeholders to understand needs, concerns, and risks 
  • Ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently, work well in team environment  
  • Create high quality presentation and reports to effectively communicate project findings  
  • Develop opinion papers for the client on an as needed basis
  • Work within our cybersecurity and cloud solution development team in coordination with Director of Commercial Health IT Advisory
  • Work as part of our sales enablement motion in coordination with the Guidehouse Payer/Provider Segment  

What You will Need:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or a minimum of 4 years of cloud and/or cybersecurity experience in lieu of degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud and/or cybersecurity
  • Familiarity and experience with commercial health organizations
  • Experience working with and supporting one or more of the following:  
    • Cloud Assessments
    • Cloud Maturity Models
    • Cybersecurity Assessments
    • Cybersecurity Maturity Models

What Would Be Nice To Have:

    • Experience supporting commercial healthcare customers in a consulting role
    • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) 
    • 5 or more years of cybersecurity/cloud/IT experience  
    • Experience managing direct client engagement team to deliver impactful support to clients 
    • Experience with managing/supporting and/or knowledge of IT programs including cybersecurity and cloud
    • Experience developing and maintaining working relationships while serving clients virtually 
    • Ability to identify obstacles and opportunities that impact the success of plans or initiatives 
    • Communicates effectively and demonstrates leadership role with clients and fellow team member. 
    • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills 

    The annual salary range for this position is $125,600.00-$188,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
